Sanjaya is an innovation from SreeGo, that provides never before transparency and control over logistics and vehicles.
There are two versions available with Sanjaya.
- GPS based tracking system
- GSM based tracking system
Sanjaya can be used in three different modes:
- Desktop Application: Deployed on the clients system
- Online(www.sanjaya.info): Can track vehicles online if not in the office
- SMS: Can SMS the license plate number, from any mobile phone, of the vehicle to be tracked to a particular number, and will be replied back with the location within no time.

Global Positioning System(GPS)
The Global Positioning System(GPS) is constellation of 28 satellites that orbit the earth twice a day, transmitting precise time and positioning information to any where on the globe, 24 hours a day. Each GPS satellite broadcasts two signals, PPS (Precise Positioning Service) and SPS (Standard Positioning Service). The PPS signal is an encrypted military-access code. The SPS signal is an unencrypted, spread-spectrum signal broadcast at 1575.42MHz.The GPS receivers listen to signals from a minimum of either three or four satellites at a time and triangulate a position fix using the interval between the transmission and reception of the satellite signal. Any given receiver tracks more satellites than are actually needed for a position fix. The reason for this is that if one satellite becomes unavailable, the receiver knows exactly where to find the best possible replacement. Three satellites are required for two dimension positioning. Two dimension positioning reports position only. Four satellites are required for three-dimension positioning, that is to say position and elevation. In general, an SPS receiver can provide position information with an error of less than 25 meters, and velocity information with an error of less that 5 meters per second.
Global System For Mobile Communications
The Global System for Mobile Communications platform is a hugely successful wireless technology and an unprecedented story of global achievement. In less than ten years since the first GSM network was commercially launched, it became the world's leading and fastest growing mobile standard, spanning over 200 countries.The GSM technology uses "Time Division Multiple Access", where each service provider assigns different frequencies to avoid interferences. There is at least one cell tower in every 900m-1000m radius in the high traffic regions (city limits) and in the low traffic regions (high ways) a single cell tower can over a radius up to 10Km. Sanjaya comprises of two components - hardware and software. The hardware unit, which is installed into the vehicle, communicates with GPS satellites orbiting the earth. The exact location of the vehicle is then transmitted to the server using GPRS network. The server application then processes the data and displays the current location on a map in real time and also generates various reports for the vehicle.
